Mettis: restructuring lines Woippy

Further to our previous articles on the visit of the district by the mayor, we offer an excerpt of the minutes of the last city council appeared in the Republican Lorrain November 7 2010. We can read that line 110 (soon 16) would pass through the train station from 1 January 2011.

The proposed restructuring of the network transit Metz Métropole proposes the establishment of several offers of transport to improve services to all parts of the city .

The Mettis linking Woippy St. Eloy Borny, borrow the streets Fort Gambetta, Doctor Charcot and Pierre and Marie Curie.
On 1 January 2011, the line 110 becomes line 16, it will serve the heart of Saint-Eloy and new neighborhoods and Creek Train Station (our neighborhood, ed.) From the Avenue des Deux-Fontaines (near Auchan), it borrows the streets of Fort Gambetta, Roget, Gabriel Poulmaire, Ferdinand Sechehaye, Jean-Pierre Fisher, avenue de Thionville, rue Maison- New, Train Station, Marshal Foch, Ladonchamps Road Rombas Street terminus and Robert Schuman.

At 1 January 2012, the route will be changed after the demolition of eight homes Metz-Habitat-Land, rue Ferdinand-Sechehaye. In addition to the streets mentioned above, the line will borrow, then the streets of the Chapter and Cornelius Agrippa, and enter ZAC des Coteaux by rue Pierre Messmer and join the terminus on the streets-Patrick Thull and the Ardennes.
Line 3 flights Pâtis is preserved. Proposals for new services will be made at Metz Metropole to reflect future urbanizing area (Chiloux ZAC, ZAC des Coteaux 1 and 2).

Expanding the debate
The board approved these guidelines and hope that this restructuring is for study followed by a duplication of line 3 or an expansion of "cutting back" line Mettis. It would also be a reflection conducted on school trips within the city especially for high school and college students Woippy Village can move more quickly to high school campus and Cormontaigne Saulcy.
