Goodbye Lena Horne (1917-2010)



Lena Horne was a great American artist.
addition to appearing in several musicals where his passes were often limited to one song, which the coup could be easily cut for the film in the U.S. racist statements, we also retain his records. 33 T
I love it burned in the late '50s and the '60s "soul" Lovely and Alive "Give the Lady What She Wants" and I have often heard.
In his one-man triumphant show "a Lady and Her Music" 1980, Lena Horne recounted his life in song and to her mégatube Stormy weather (Ethel Waters had yet recorded even before her) first conventional manner as in the film of 1943 and then more soul in which the artist freed his voice, his temperament and emotion.
In the same show, Lena delivered a beautiful performance of "Yesterday" Aznavour that no one has sung it better and If You Believe from The Wiz.
