Snowshill Manor was owned by Winchcombe Abbey from 821 to 1539. It was during the dissolution of the monasteries in 1539, that King Henry VIII confiscated the. Having grown from homeowners renters in 1919 Charles Paget Wade, architect, artist, acquired and began to fully restore the property to store all its collections. He donated
Snowshill Manor and its collections to the National Trust in 1951.

No garden sophisticated Snowshill. But a delicious impression serenity and peace ... a place full of charm.
