Garden Hidcote Manor Garden in the Paris region

Hidcote Manor is set in Britain in Gloucestershire. It is a garden made famous by Lawrence Johnston. He acquired the estate in 1907 with his mother, and began the realization of the garden that lasted over forty years. In 1948 he transferred to the National Trust Hidcote Manor before moving France (his land of birth). We know his other garden in Menton, the garden of Serre de la Madone on which he worked until his death in 1958. Lawrence Johnston was a great traveler, and organized numerous expeditions (Asia, Africa, South America, Europe), to bring back rare specimens he installed in his garden.
